This is my new friend. She won't last the night.
We're toasting the weather.
I went outside tonight with the superintendent to shovel the walkways and after I made my new friend. As I finished up it started to rain (Of course. This is Nova Scotia after all.)
The Wookie and I had a couple of walks this week. I'm itching to get hiking again and the bike has been whispering to me every night. It's the same mantra : I want to go out. I want to go out. I may get studs for my mountain bike tires for next winter. I chatted with a guy at a local bike shop about them. But I think if I'm to go mountain biking in the winter and I need studs, I should also get a full cage helmet and mask for my face and paint stitches on it to mark the bumps and bangs I get, because I will get them. Just like Gerry Cheevers. Heh.....

Some friends are with us for a reason, some only for a season. Too bad your new friend's season was only overnight. :( Gone but not forgotten (thanks to the wonder of digital pictures).
Hey your new friend has some big boobs! Wish mine were that perky! hehe :-)
Do you bike indoors during the winter? Put your bike up on a stand to keep practicing?
In the past 10 years I have taken up skiing after a long sabbatical as the wunderkid became a snowboarder and the cheerleader has gravitated towards skiing. Other than that I really don't have much use for snow. Especially when the city I live in goes into panic mode at the sight of a few flakes. Alas, ski season is coming to an end soon but at least there is one more ski trip next week! Time to get the golf clubs ready!
Wordsmith,
I am thankful for my digital camera...and friends who last through all seasons.
Lanette,
Last year I had room to set up my bike in my apartment. Not this year. I foolishly rearranged some stuff and now don't have the roo to set up the bike.
Steve,
Don't break anything!
